Growing up on my father’s farm in Jamaica allowed me appreciate the time and effort it took to grow things from seed to fruit.
Throughout my career, I noticed that cuisines throughout the African diaspora weren’t taught or celebrated like French or Italian.
Frustrated with the lack of representation, I started Nyam Patois, to showcase and preserve the essence of Jamaican culture through food and specialty products.
